Vital to any sheet metal fabrication is the ability to bond multiple pieces of metal. To accomplish this, high-technology equipment and skilled welders are essential.

DMP’s TIG, MIG and ROBOTIC welders are the work-horses of our welding department. Welding is more than a function....it is an art! It requires a welder’s ability to think through the process, select the proper tools and materials for the job, understand the properties of the metals to be welded, and to be proficient in applying the techniques necessary to fabricate complex parts.

In order to produce neat welds which require a minimum of post-weld grinding, preparatory work is mandatory. This starts with proper cleaning and de-greasing when necessary.

Certain welded parts may require considerable finishing processes,such as grinding, graining and polishing, to name a few. These processes can be performed so skillfully that the welding seam is undetectable.

A welder with torch in hand, like a painter, can turn out a masterpiece. At DMP we are fortunate to have a staff of skilled craftsmen who do expert welding. We also design and manufacture custom jigs and fixtures to further ensure conformance to customer specifications and offer the opportunity to reduce costs.
